It takes a hell of a lot of confidence to be a stand up comedian and Alice does reference this extraordinary confidence. It got her through the very tough, some might say savage, environment of an all girls school. And this for a girl, on the larger side, with a mole! It took unknockable confidence!

Alice is a talented performer. Originally from New Zealand. Her many writing credits include penning Starstruck alongside Rose Matafeo.

It takes a certain talent or skill to be so at ease on stage as to create an atmosphere of; just telling a few stories to a room full of, hopefully like minded strangers, and make it entirely believable. Like you actually start to think that Alice just rocked up and told a few stories that actually happened to her. Unlike a lot of comedians who are funny and tell funny stories but you know that, that definitely didn’t happen!

It has been five years since Alice last appeared at The Fringe. A lot has happened. The Covid pandemic for example but the biggest thing that has happened is meeting and moving in with Imogen. We hear a lot about Imogen. This is a good steady long term relationship with one or two surprises.

There is a recurring thread of a story involving Alice’s car which may or may not have been stolen. I won’t give away the ending. Please come to this show, enjoy the masterful story telling and find out.
