As a huge Celine Dion fan, I could listen to her songs for hours. So naturally my interest was peaked when I saw this show advertised. It takes bravery and vocal expertise to even attempt to hit the notes Celine does so effortlessly and elegantly.

Jasmine is an amazing performer and she did not let Celine down in any way. She managed to make the songs her own without diverging from the originals that we all know and love. She even compiled her own mash up of two of Celine’s well known song which was stunning!

Between the songs is a slide show of the key moments in Celine’s life. There were some facts I was had not been aware of and it was lovely to learn new things about this well loved diva.

What struck me the most was how this show evoked an emotional response in, not just me, but the whole audience. I found myself feeling overwhelmed with emotion and the songs boosting that feeling. Some of the audience did become tearful which I was surprised at.

Amongst this, there were some fabulous and incredibly quick outfit changes which were stunning! The whole 45 minutes I was in, what felt like, a nice but emotional bubble. I did not expect that.

Jasmine is indeed a talented vocal artist who can hit and sustain high notes incredibly. She does not claim to be a tribute act and her show is a homage to an amazing performer and human being. I do believe any Celine fan would enjoy this show. Well worth it!
