‘Songs for a New World’ is composed and written by Jason Robert Brown, in it we see seven people striving towards a new life, in new lands, in  a new world across the sea. In Echo Theatrical Productions performance we meet Emily Altneu, Aimee Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Gethin Jones, Owain Llyr-Williams,  Jack Lowe and  Kate Scott each with lovely voices in their own individual ways. Having seen a version of this before I thought I knew what I was about to see but the musical numbers do not stay in your head. The performers are all superb and move on and off stage with ease changing the setups of the chairs used. Costumes are all basic black and white a sure fire winner with this sort of show. Well worth seeing if you can. ****
