Caroline Hardie takes as her springboard into an hour of wacky comedy the statistic that around 80% of our thoughts are repeated from one day to the next. Caroline believes it is this daily repetition and routine which defeats our wildest dreams and is on a mission to rediscover the amazing.

Ms Hardie is at her best when playing her various characters – amongst which the Queen and a certain Australian feminist feature – who are convincing and generally amusing (and her command of accents is impressive), but is less sure of pace and delivery when being herself. The material is perhaps not the strongest you’ll see on the Fringe, but then it’s also rather slow-burn comedy: it’s not exactly what she says but what she doesn’t say – and how she doesn’t say it – which is funny.

An enjoyable hour.
