I Believe In Unicorns 5***** - One4Review

If you only have the chance to see one show in the Fringe, then this one is worth some serious consideration. It is storytelling at it’s absolute best, is beautifully produced and executed. The two cast members are engaging and an absolute delight to listen too, for both adults and children alike.
From Michael Morpurgo, it is the story of Tomas and Franny, and their love of their library from discovery to destruction during war times and the eventual rebuilding. The props used during the show to illustrate parts of the story were beautiful and inspiring and helped to keep the audience feel fully immersed in the story at all times.
The children were offered cushions to sit on at the front so they could concentrate fully without the worry that someone tall would be in front of them, they were also invited frequently to participate in the show. All of this has helped to make ‘I believe in unicorns’ one of my favourite shows of the Fringe so far and if you can make it along to the Pleasance, I thoroughly recommend that you do, it’s a terrific show, and a great Fringe experience.
