Scott Gibson - Life After Death 4**** - One4Review

Scott Gibson – Life After Death 4****

| On 11, Aug 2016

Glaswegian Scott Gibson has been building a glowing reputation for himself in recent times so it was with much anticipation that I headed to see his debut Edinburgh hour.
A born raconteur and a very funny man with great likeability, the confident but not arrogant, personality flowed from the stage from the very start. He was off with a little crowd work prior to getting down to the story, and what a story it is.
It commences with a stag do to Blackpool and Gibson skilfully paints images and describes characters, making them almost tangible, leading us through the traumatic times that he has gone through at such an early age. Dark times yes, but Gibson is a positive guy and has come out of the other side with a positive mental attitude.
His observational material about hospitals and the NHS is top notch and interwoven with his personal anecdotes make this a show that just went by all too quickly even given the heat in the room.
It is little wonder that he is well thought of by peers and public alike. He is surely destined for bigger and better things.
