Lou takes us on a journey through her life starting and stopping at Boots the Chemist.
Lou Conran is an established comedian, writer and columnist, who it seems also loves a good curry. We are treated to a show with a hilarious cast of characters whose many adventures are recalled for our entertainment. These stories are peppered with some quick fire one liners and impressions. We explore her dodgy flat and even more dodgy men. She probes the audience for sensitivity with some pointed questioning and once she finds our acceptance then anything goes. Some shocking stories are unleashed. Lou sketches out her friends and family for us, her neighbour and her curious friend that only breathes in (!), were personal favourites of mine. Lou also takes us through some very personal and poignant events which she handles with great delicacy. Leading us to a set of observations about the world of pregnancy from her unique perspective.
Boots the Chemist will never be the same
You will certainly shed a laugh or maybe a tear…
