Never can it have been easier to be a political comedian and impressionist than at the present time. There are just so many open-goals to shoot at. Or can it?. Perhaps there are just too many politicians of all colours, though mostly blue, to set your sights on.
But given this dichotomy, Matt Fore takes aim and launches with both barrels never missing the target with unerring accuracy.
The list of characters lampooned include Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Matt Hancock, Keir Starmer, Tony Blair Nadine Dorries, Rishi Sunak, Nicola Sturgeon, Humza Yousaf, Donald Trump and so on, all gat the Forde treatment, and such others as Huw Edwards and Mick Lynch are gathered up too for a roasting.
This is a fast paced show, Forde is in his element and both the writing and the characters he takes the mickey out of are just delightfully interpreted. It was a show that was over waaaay before anyone wanted it to be such was the enjoyment.
If you like the news, are even vaguely interested in current affairs or just like a good old belly laugh then this could be the show for you. But be quick tickets are disappearing quickly, so don’t delay.
