Touch by Bill Dare - One4Review

This is a brand new play written by Bill Dare and has a taste of everything. An interesting storyline, two fine performances from the two actors, Rupert Holliday Evans as the well ordered Vernon and Lucinda Millward as Emma, who seems destined to disrupt his almost fanatically organised existence. Having pulled her from a river in what was assumed to be a suicide bid, Vernon takes Emma back to his house to dry off and the action begins to unfold. Why does Vernon live  his life through his  telescope, and why is he totally against any sort of physical contact. Why is Emma suddenly determined that she will cure him and instill some of her values on this slightly dysfunctional character? These are questions that can be answered by going and checking out an intriguing piece of afternoon theatre. ****
