Tom Wrigglesworth’s Nightmare Dream Wedding - One4Review
One of the things that is enjoyable in the line of work is to see the progress of up and coming talent in their progression to bigger and better things. Over the last few years I have seen the likes of Michael McIntyre and John Bishop playing to half full small venues gradually progressing to their current status. And it wouldn’t surprise me to see Tom Wrigglesworth up there too.
Tom is a very tall, very hairy guy who was comedy award nominated last year and is presenting his 2010 to packed out houses again this year.
A born raconteur, Wrigglesworth relates a period of his life and how strange circumstances and to a degree chance, have led to his marriage since last Fringe.
Such divers subjects as a visit to a ‘Jeremy Kyle Show’ recording, a meeting with a person in the queue, a holiday to Vegas poker and a hotel neighbour called Fatima are all integral to the story, and give him a chance to showcase his comic talents while sharing the story.
So if you are aware of this very funny comic, or even if you are not, go and check him out for yourselves. He is surely destined to go to the very top.
