Karl Spain has been missing from The Fringe for a couple of years, far too long in my opinion. 2015 sees him return to play a season in the sauna which is The Wee Room at the Gilded Balloon.

There is no side to Mr Spain, he greets his sell out audience as they arrive, starting with the craic prior to kicking off his actual performance.

If ever there was an apt show title then this is it. Spain launches into a whole gambit of stories, jokes gags audience interaction drawing laugh out loud reaction at will, like the master craftsman he is.

He comes across as a guy it would be great to meet for a pint in the pub, and I’m sure he would be, one would just have to be careful not to become a victim of his pranks!! I’ll leave him to tell you all about them!!

He says on the onset that although he is somewhat under the radar here he is a big name in his native Ireland. For my money this is a situation that needs to change. He definitely deserves to have his name in lights. Definitely catch him while you can.
