Suzy Bennett: Gumption! 4**** - One4Review

Suzy Bennett: Gumption! 4****

| On 24, Aug 2015

Okay I now think I have found the official hottest venue ever, the black cupboard, well it’s hardly bigger, with a low roof and when the excess of thirty people are packed in… it’s unbearable, but no one leaves, all commit to listening and laughing while this bubbly blonde from Plymouth entertains for her full hour.

Suzy has recently had the gumption to get herself out of a 7 year relationship but left herself little time to get ready for Edinburgh due to being distracted by Netflix, visiting friends on Megga bus and trying out dates via the internet get in the way and if it is not that then it is her procrastination that’ll do it.

Me thinks she protests too much. The show is well written, and is packed full of gently funny material. Subjects are not particularly ground-breaking but they are entertaining and Ms Bennett does come over as a likeable lady throughout. She in her life is easy distracted nearly getting fired by dancing at work when she should have been doing what she was paid for, leads up to an unexpected finale dedicated to a friend who recently died. All in all a nice if extremely hot way to spent an hour.
