Ms Knox is a talented comedy actress who I have seen over a few Fringes now so it was no surprise that I was in a rather busy performance area to see her 2013 performance.

Greeted in person as usual, everyone was made to feel at home by this personable comic and then it was all systems go as she led the audience on a journey through half a dozen or so characters to showcase her talents.

The show was well written as always but there were a number of the characters who seemed to be more popular than others judging by the laughs, but I think it is fair to say all was of a suitably high standard. Blow up dolls, pub landladies, and a French teacher were some of my favourites but like all good performers she left the very best until last. I am not giving any clues here but it was a hoot from the start.

Catriona Knox is certainly well worth checking out, but be prepared to be hot the venue is like a sauna.
