Having racked my brains for some artistic, dramatic description of this show, none of which sum this perfomance up better than a simply beautiful, clever and lovely experince.

What we tend to forget about Fringe performances is that the majority of which have a quite tight budget and of course, because they are travelling shows, certain prop restrictions also. None of these were evident in this performance. There were plenty of rapid costume changes, some very clever and inventive uses of props and some terrific pieces of live music. The cast are enigmatic, believable and very engaging, their use of character changes, puppets and costume are great and all add up to a great way to spend an hour in the Fringe.

The story centres itself around a young girl and her experience with some faeries who wish to exploit her for her games and joy. She soon realises the cost of this though and with some help from some endearing friends, manages to escape her situation whilst helping others to become happier too. I don’t really want to go into more detail as this should be seen without knowing everything about the story as it unfolds itself in a delightful manner.

A simply lovely tale, one which we left feeling warmer and eager to recommend this to parents everywhere.
