Oh dear. What a shame. Adrienne Truscott is well known from her being half of the Wau Wau Sisters and her previous Edinburgh Show ‘Adrienne Truscott’s Asking for It: A One-Lady Rape About Comedy Starring Her Pussy and Little Else!’ won an award or two and having seen her in both guises and enjoyed this bawdy babe so was really looking forward to this performance.

Okay it was a show struck with technical gremlins which didn’t help but her transition away from the body baring performer to the stand-up she now wants to be was a bit of a mish-mash to say the least. And if that was the intent to move on, the performance still contained a fair chunk of her time flashing her foof. Was there irony here?

She probably was affected by the glitches, but forgetting her set, seemingly undecided at times as what to do next did not lead to a slick performance.

For me I was disappointed. I like her as a performer and when she was on safer ground a la Wau Wau Sister mode, her true qualities where evident. As a stand-up there is a lot more work to do I’m afraid.
