Laura Lexx: Lovely 3*** - One4Review

Laura Lexx is lovely. But she is worried. She muses that the best Fringe shows deal with overcoming something bad, and she is too fortunate in her life. What a bummer. So what should a girl do?
Well she makes the most of her fortunes and launches into her first solo Fringe show about the highs and not so low lows that have shaped the course of her life.
She is a nice comic who turns in a very creditable hour of entertainment that is easy listening and engaging. She loves a documentary does Laura, no matter what the subject she has watched ‘em especially March of the Penguins which she expounds on, but really any one would do.
Laura moved to Brighton and fell in love, subsequently moving in with her boyfriend and this even and a holiday for the two of them gave her plenty of material with her hopes of more permanence in her relationship being slightly marred by the possibility of a medical condition flaring up.
All in all a pleasing show, okay nothing ground breaking, but does it have to be. I’m sure she will be enjoying her job for a long time to come.
