Well this is different! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the title, but the description gives you a better idea. Two seemingly normal people who just so happen to kill their dates end up on a date together and realise they have found their perfect partner. Or have they? How far would they take their desires when they go on a road trip together?

Given the subject matter it’s hard to think of this as a comedy love story, but funny it is… and clever, engaging and quirky. The production has been very well put together with the attention to detail and nice touches making the comedy quick and deliciously black.

The cast are gently miced but could perhaps be slightly louder and sometimes the diction wasn’t the best, but this in no way detracted from fine performances and lovely singing. The music is excellent and tuneful, the five-piece live band never getting too loud, the acting good and the characters excellently played.
