Alice Fraser: Chronos 4**** - One4Review

Alice Fraser: Chronos 4****

| On 09, Aug 2022

Alice Fraser is an Australian comedian, writer, podcaster, and actor.

I have reviewed Alice a number of times in the past and was blown away by her original and challenging cerebral shows “Empire” 2017 and “Ethos” 2018 where she tackled such difficult issues as quantum physics and AI and what it means to us all. This show is not as intense as the previous works, but nevertheless addresses some challenging issues the metaphor used for this is a train journey in which Alice encounters various characters. She vividly describes these figures and explores the roles of social influencer and the suited business type male passengers.

Many audience members knew Alice for her work with Andy Saltzman of the bugle podcast, she acknowledges this and describes the trials and tribulations of producing such podcasts.

Alice informs us that she has had a baby, and describes the various encounters she has as a young mother, who she meets and how she manages, all described in a provocative and poignant way .

The show is entertaining, and the audience enjoy the observational comedy, it’s not as serious as previous shows and I found that a little disappointing, also the random repetition of a dozen Donald Trump jokes was a bit unnecessary I thought. Nevertheless, you should catch Alice’s show for the sole reason that she is very different and will make your brain work!

And you will laugh!
