Christopher Macarthur-Boyd – Oh No 5***** - One4Review

Christopher Macarthur-Boyd is fast becoming a star of the comedy world, not only here in his native Scotland, but everywhere and judging by the numbers at the show I attended if anything his popularity is growing.
And it is not had to understand why, he has a whole hour packed with delightfully written hilarious material and observations delivered in a relaxed catty style, often to be seen just leaning on the wall chatting as if to mates.
He talks about transport, especially bus travel, lockdown obviously, okay age for him but what about rites of passage for 18 year olds, a deliciously self-deprecating story of a ‘lads’ holiday to Magaluf when he was 18, his family, Australian girlfriend who is taller than him, Deliveroo deliveries and not really understanding words when younger that could have caused huge problems for others and his new found passion for cooking with ‘Hello Fresh’, but that is just a few bullet points. The only way to find out what really happened would be to try and get a ticket should there be some available.
Christopher may be relatively small in stature but is huge in comedy talent and likeability. Surely stardom beckons, and it won’t be for off if he continues on his current trajectory.
