Stuart McPherson: The Peesh 4**** - One4Review
one4review | On 11, Aug 2022
Stuart McPherson is an engaging instantly likeable and relatable young man. He seems genuinely thrilled that the show is sold out “and its not even a two for one night”!
Indeed he talks about all the stuff we can relate to; trying to get a mortgage, his mixed bunch of mates, his recent break up and surviving lock down. The latter of which he seemed to enjoy. Residing in a flat share with his then girlfriend and a couple of mates. Happy days! We are told that lock down and staying at home is not much of a stretch for a comedian who only works for hour tops every other night even in the best of normal times.
We are told and indeed shown photos of a recent stag do to Newcastle, which as stag do’s go, did seem a bit on the tame side. We learn of his unreasonable hatred of Joe Wicks although he just might just have inspired him to his greatest extravagance; hiring a personal trainer.
The less light hearted topics include coping with his recent post lock down break up and discovering that he is suffering from a certain and rare form of alopecia.
Stuart McPherson is a safe bet if you’re looking to be entertained for an hour, not be offended and feel rather smug if you’ve managed to secure a mortgage!
