The show was sold out. The venue was at capacity, and a celebrity comedian was turned away at the door through lack of room.
Since being nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer, Sarah has gone from strength to strength .
I was fortunate enough to catch Sarah’s debut show last year, and I’m very pleased that she has returned with essentially the same topics but with some excellent new material. She has dropped her nannie adventure stories and concentrates on gender issues.
This is confessional humour at its very best we share Sarah’s emotional journey as she establishes a new live-in relationship, various aspects of home life are explored, who sleeps on what side of the bed what’s stored under the bed, you get the idea.
We also go much deeper as Sarah and her partner struggle to define roles and responsibilities in a same-sex relationship.
Sarah recalls her recent trip to the Melbourne comedy festival as she tells us about sexual harassment encounters.
You will need to fight to get a ticket but its worth the effort.
