Well what can I say that no doubt has not been said before! Very well put together and very, very funny! No wonder this show is a constant sell out it is! Where do I start…..?

The show is centred on a producer under pressure to come up with a new musical in the next 60 minutes. He gathers some ideas, all which are ultimately voted by and from the audience. As you can imagine, they are so obscure making the performers really show their true talents. It reminded me of a comedy TV show where the comedians are given a topic and they improvise a scene. The producer keeps the show rolling by making suggestions and adding a twist, often resulting in a hilarious outcome.

I loved how much fun the cast themselves were having – e.g. the producer/musicians were laughing throughout the show. As an audience member, you really felt included and comfortable throughout the whole show, not just at the beginning.

I was really impressed with, not just the way the cast worked so in sync, but also the whole production team. The lighting, the sound and the musicians were all slick and managed to make the show cohesive. The imaginative and creative use of the minimal props and costumes that they had was impressive. They really made the whole show come to life with just a few things and often a few one liners.

The greatest point about this show is it will likely be different again tonight! Tomorrows’ reviewer may have a different tale to tell. I cannot fault my experience of this show and it exceeded my expectations. Improv can be a hit or a miss, this show was a definite hit!
